o It is close to open green spaces such as Barley Lane Park, and Goodmayes Park.
o Local destinations such as Barley Lane Primary, Mayfield School and Mayfield Leisure Centre and Pool are all a short walk from the site.
Site History
o The site is currently surrounded by residential buildings ranging from 20th century buildings in the South to inter-war buildings to the North. It currently includes the Tesco Extra store which is being re-provided as part of the wider Goodmayes regeneration and associated parking spaces.
o The site is currently detached from its surrounding area and footpaths. There have been no residential properties on site for many years
